First knockout stage of the Champions League starts today. I personally have waited for these matches ever since the draw. O my god the sweets we have in the next few days. I am a bit disappointed about the draw because I hoped for semi-final Manchester United, Porto, Real Madrid, Lyonn. If Chelsea pops up instead of Lyonn I won’t mind. Let me give you my humble opinion on the matches of the first week:
A.C. Milan vs Manchester United
Oh my god!!! Who can predict the outcome? Yes Manchester seems to be in better form but Milan has always been dangerous is knockout matches. If players from the island underestimate Italians for only a second they will receive lesson which will doom them. I feel that Manchester simply must score at least once today. If they do not, they are in big trouble. Still I hope that Man United will finish first knockout round today.

Lyonn vs Real Madrid
I am a bit upset that these two sides meet so early in the knockout stages. Lyonn players probably play the most beautiful game, simple, quick, lots of passes… As for Real Madrid they have spent enormous amounts of money and I am not sure that they already have the team which can reach the final. I hope they do but only because the final is at Santiago Bernabeo.
